About This Project
OWARI Engineering delivered a state-of-the-art automated distribution system for one of Thailand's largest beverage distributors. The project featured Interroll crossbelt sorters for high-speed case sorting, automated conveyor networks connecting receiving, storage, and shipping areas, and MasterMover electric tugs for heavy pallet transport. The system handles high-volume case throughput with high sorting accuracy.
The Challenge
The distributor was processing growing volumes manually, leading to labor shortages, sorting errors, and inability to meet same-day dispatch requirements. The existing facility needed a complete automation overhaul without disrupting ongoing operations.
Our Solution
We implemented Interroll crossbelt sorters capable of handling high-volume case throughput with high accuracy, connected by automated conveyor networks throughout the facility. MasterMover electric tugs were deployed for heavy pallet transport between zones, eliminating forklift traffic in pedestrian areas.
